Neapolis university in Paphos and the University of Haifa in Israel signed a memorandum of understanding that will provide for joint research activities, staff exchanges, as well as joint undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

The rector of the Neapolis university, professor Pantelis Sklias said the institution is recognised further with such partnerships with distinguished universities abroad and the development of qualitative synergies.

He said the cooperation with the University of Haifa is part of a coordinated strategic development plan which is being implemented with steady steps and which includes key partnerships with universities in Israel.

“We have already embarked on specific initiatives, which have received a very positive response from both our academic community and the wider ecosystem of university education in Europe and beyond,” he said.

Neapolis University Paphos is a mature and conscious choice for its student community and its partners on the global academic map, the rector added.
