The past year has been hard for the cultural world and the artists, with cancelled or postponed events and artists left jobless for months. In many ways, the arts scene has been cancelled, and still largely is with theatres shut and the few performances limited to virtual audiences. Artists feel neglected and ignored yet they are still creative and on Saturday are coming together for one big show.

The Cyprus Association of Professional Artists will the biggest All-Day Live Streamed Performance by artists for artists. More than 60 local artists will join in to present non-stop live performances from 12pm to 8pm. The event will happen physically at the Limassol Pattichio Municipal Theatre and will be live-streamed through the SoldOut Tickets platform for people to watch. The performances are open for viewing where audiences can make their optional ticket contributions for €5, €10, €15, €20, €50 or €100 to support the artists.

A similar show was held on January 23 and now the Association returns with more creatives for a full day, in an attempt to support the cultural world. Tomorrow’s participants aren’t announced in advance yet the agenda will include music, theatre, song and even art from various painters and visual artists. The ‘Cultural world is shouting’ as the event is called and it needs our support.
