Family Concert 'WIND’S STORIES: Wind instruments of the symphony orchestra'

11701dfThe Children's Philharmonic Society of Paphos presents a number of concert series at Technopolis 20, ideal for children and family. The first family concert entitled “Wind’s Stories: Wind instruments of the symphony orchestra” will take place on Sunday, 25th of February at 4pm.
The concerts will give the opportunity to children to learn about the different families of the musical instruments of the symphony orchestra, the history of their origin and the peculiarities of each specific instrument.
Entrance: 10 euros / 5 euros (children)

 

Cyprus Guitar Trio

1051cgt technopolis 1The Cyprus Guitar Trio comprising by the three renowned classical guitarists from Cyprus, Vasilios Avraam, George Christofi and Socrates Leptos, invite you to a musical night at Technopolis 20, on Saturday, 24th of February 2018, at 8pm.

Enjoy a journey in time through a repertoire of well-known works of great composers such as de Ferranti, Margola, Ferenc, Kaps, among others, which are not covers but works written specifically for three guitars. The programme will include a wide range of European and Latin music with works such as sonatas, flamenco, rumba, tango, and more.

In a romantic atmosphere, enjoy timeless jazz standards having love as their central theme, famous tunes such as: When I Fall In Love, As Time Goes By, My Funny Valentine, Fly Me to the Moon and many more!

The Jazz singer Alice Ayvazian will be joined on stage with Konstantinos Efraimidis on clarinet and Dimitris Miaris on piano.

Two Classical Pianists – One Composer

3952018.02.13 natalias edited photo for posters and prxxxThe composer David Pentecost presents the concert “Two Classical Pianists – One Composer”, on Tuesday, 13th February 2018, at 8pm. The audience visiting Technopolis 20 will have the unique opportunity to hear world première performances of no less than 19 piano works composed by David Pentecost and performed by the classical pianists Tatiana Stupak and Natalia Lezedova.

Most of the Limassol-based composer’s works are in the popular romantic classical style. Some of the compositions have been played since May last year at concerts in Limassol, Paphos and Nicosia, and were very enthusiastically received by the audiences. Entrance: 10 euro
