The Sea Caves area, like much of old Paphos, was up until recently rural and open land but over recent years the Sea Caves area has started to change.  Scattered among the banana groves, watermelon fields and open plains, are lavish villas and stately pleasure domes.

Now the Sea Caves area is one of the finest residential areas in Paphos, offering some of the most exclusive villas on the island.  This is not surprising when you consider its breathtaking rugged Cypriot coastline and small sandy coves with crystal clear Mediterranean waters.  The caves form naturally in soft limestone, allowing this small stretch of coastline between Coral Bay and St. George to be easy overlooked when looking for somewhere to swim.

Proceeding further north from the Sea Caves will bring you to a small fishing harbour in the shadow of St George church with a small sand/shingle beach.  St. George is a perfect spot for snorkelling and scuba diving or topping up your tan.

A family restaurant is perched on the top of the hill offering amazing panoramic views and the best fish meze in town.  Come on a Sunday, and unless you book, you could easily wait hours for your chance to taste a Traditional Seafood lunch.
